The oxygen self-rescuer offered here was originally developed for use in mining and therefore meets high standards of reliability and robustness. It is housed in a sturdy case and can therefore be carried around every day. It is also CE (EN 13794:2002 - Annex A) certified. The K-SB30 also has a starter, so that it can be used safely, even when exhaling, independent of the room air.
It now has a total shelf life of ten years when stored, reduced to five years if carried continuously.
In any case, the device's operational readiness can and should be checked daily. For this purpose, it is equipped with a window on the top. If the indicator paper inside is brown, everything is OK. If it is white, the device must be replaced.
The oxygen self-rescuer should always be worn on the user's body so that it is immediately available in an emergency. For this purpose, it is equipped with two robust metal loops. These can be attached to a standard work belt up to 45mm wide.
